Veronica is a recent high school graduate and currently attends Bristol Community College in New Bedford, Massachusetts. She hopes to become a high school guidance counselor at her alma mater, Apponequet Regional High School in Lakeville, Ma.
Veronica is greatly involved in her local church, LifeHouse church, where her friends and family also attend.
For the past five years, LifeHouse has been her home church and she is active in the ministry. Her experience in playing the piano landed her a spot leading worship with her friends for the church’s Wednesday night youth group. Not long after that, Veronica interned on the main Sunday-morning worship team and is now playing every Sunday.
“This experience has been an incredible blessing- spiritually, mentally, and musically- and I can’t imagine who I would be without the people I call my church family. They all encourage me to grow closer to God and they push me to be the best I can be,” stated Veronica.
Along with participating on the worship team, Veronica takes part in leading a young adult bible study. With two of her close friends, Veronica organized the church’s yearly fall conference this October.
Leadership comes naturally to Veronica. She accepts any challenge put before her with confidence, enjoys talking to people, and learns how to communicate better, which helps her empathize with others. Although she is not fully leading her own group, she is excited to learn about how to be a good leader and looks forward to what God has in store for her in the future.
